Mission
Maybell’s House mission is to end poverty and homelessness amongst youth and young adults. We stand committed to assisting the community in achieving self-sufficiency and familial stability. Our core program, Ground Zero, will provide the community with familial strengthening initiatives that are geared towards building skills that are imperative to overcoming life’s obstacles. Ground Zero will educate youth and young adults in four essential areas, financial wellness, family management, vital life skills, and lifestyle technology. We build trust and provide tools to successfully manage, maintain, and excel familial economical circumstance.
Vision
Our goal is to motivate and empower homeless, at risk to becoming homeless, and struggling youth and young families. In our research we have found that these situations are comprised from the feeling of not being equipped to be successful, the feeling of failure before trying. We want to provide the tools needed to sustain a healthy lifestyle for themselves, their families, and a community in whole. It is our organization’s pride and joy to serve people in our community, not problems. Maybell’s house affirms that through humanitarian action we can alternate the lives people to such a degree that it changes the course of the family for generations.
